Next Tuesday

Well here it is... next Tuesday. I almost lost interest already.

I'm a little disappointed with the concert this last Friday at "Club 301", the young adult center I'm working on. You see, my church is allowing us to use their facility for concerts, yet only 24 people were there. This includes all of the 'staff', pastor, etc.

We promoted the concert on Christian radio, in the newspaper, and in the church bulletin. I know I need to trust God on this, but I was very disappointed with the lack of support from our home congregation... especially the youth group.

Only one 'youth' from our church showed up, and he left before the band even took the stage!

The band was Strong Men Stoop, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They were phenomenal! They have agreed to come back for a back-to-school concert in August, so we'll just need to hit this one harder!
